Getting There

Big John Flat is located approximately 15 miles south of Marysvale and is accessible by both ATV and 4x4 vehicle via scenic mountain roads.

ATV/UTV Access:

  • Ride directly from your campsite using the Paiute Trail system
  • Connect via Trail 01, Trail 02, or Trail 25 depending on your loop

Vehicle Access:

  • Take Cottonwood Canyon Road (FR068) or Beaver Canyon Road (FR123) from Marysvale or Beaver
  • Road conditions vary; a high-clearance vehicle is recommended

Many guests plan a full day trip loop through Big John Flat, combining it with Delano Peak, Box Creek Reservoir, or Manning Meadows.
